Crystals and Essential Oils That Increase Confidence

We are in week 3 of our journey through spiritual practices that increase confidence. Check out last week's post here all about journaling for increased confidence. This week we are diving into all things woo with crystals and essential oils. These are both tools that you can use to enhance your spiritual practices or to help carry out your intentions in your daily living.

I have been using crystals and oils regularly for about 3 years now. I have too many oils to count and my “special rock” collection is ever-growing. I use my intuitions at the beginning of each day to see which stones and oils are calling out to me at that particular moment. I have found that using this practice to choose which ones I use that day is a spiritual practice in itself.

Using my intuition and inner guidance to decide what would best benefit me that day is an amazing practice to improve your trust in yourself. It gets you to intentionally tune in to your inner guide without having to sit in a meditation or take much time out of your day. It also is a pretty simple daily habit to get into.

What to Expect

In this post I will be discussing specific crystals and oils that promote confidence the most. These are not all-inclusive lists, however these are the ones that I have found to make the biggest impact for myself.

I will also briefly be touching on exactly how to use both essential oils and crystals in case you are new to these tools all together. There is no right or wrong way to incorporate crystals and oils into your life. This is simply what I have found beneficial so far. Please see this information as a starting point for yourself and explore more on your own to find what works best for you and your needs.

So if you are interested in learning how these tools can improve your life and help you live more confidently, then read on!

Crystals

Crystals are naturally occurring stones that have different energetic properties. There are hundreds of types of crystals varying in color, texture, size, shape, and feeling. Now when I say feeling, I don't necessarily mean how it physically feels when you touch it. I am talking about the inner feeling you get when it is in  your presence.

These differing feelings come from the energy of the crystal and each type is unique. Each type of  crystal has the ability to support you in different areas of your life. There are crystals that will keep you grounded, protect your energy, open you to live, and so much more.

I use crystals on a daily basis by simply carrying them around with me. I keep them in my purse, by my bed, in my car all depending on the benefit I'm looking to gain from them. You will also want to cleanse your crystals from time to time because they will pick up unwanted energy.

To cleanse your crystals you can use a few different methods. My go to cleansing methods are placing them in a salt bowl (literally just a bowl of salt) or placing them outside under a full moon. Both of these techniques clear the crystals of unwanted negative energy and help enhance their effects.

Crystals for Feeling Confident

Red Jasper is my go to grounding stone. It helps me feel secure in my body when I get stuck in my head. Use this crystal to calm your anxieties so you can step into more confidence.

Essential Oils

Essential oils are the oils extracted from different plants. These oils are used for their therapeutic and healing properties. Many oils have both physical and emotional benefits that they provide. One good example of this is lavender oil. It has an emotionally calming effect as well as supports healing of burns and bug bites.

Oils can be used in the air through sprays or a diffuser or, if the quality of the oil is high enough, they can be used directly on the skin if diluted in a carrier (in a lotion, soap, or other oil such as coconut oil). I have multiple diffusers throughout my house so that each room can have a different energy if that's what I need that day.

There are many different brands of essential oils out on the market right now and they all have their pros and cons. There are certainly different degrees of quality and price in all of these brands. After doing a lot of research on my own, I have found my preferred brand to be Eden’s Garden. Their oils are high quality, sustainably sourced, easily accessible, and fairly priced.

The oils that I’ve linked below are all from their website; however, I want you to do your own research as well. You need to feel confident in the quality of the product you are getting for yourself before you begin your journey with oils.

Essential Oils for Increased Confidence

Pachouli - The oil of physicality

Patchouli has the reputation for being the oil of “hippies”. It has a very distinct scent and is all about bringing you into your body. It helps you stay present and grounded allowing for enhanced confidence in your experience. If you are someone who struggles with over thinking or self-doubt, patchouli is a great oil for you.

Bergamot - The oil of self-acceptance

Bergamot is a citrusy smelling oil that supports your in accepting yourself for who you are. We cannot feel confident in something that we are constantly fighting against or trying to change at its core. So by using this oil to promote more acceptance in yourself, you can start creating the building blocks for increased confidence.

Lavender - The oil of communication and calm

Lavender has a calming floral scent often found in spas and beauty products. Emotionally, lavender assists you in working past insecurities and fears behind being noticed. This oil can help you experience more comfort and confidence in being seen for who you truly are.

Spearmint - The oil of confident speech

Spearmint is a slightly sweeter form of mint. It supports your ability to speak clearly and confidently. This can be in difficult conversation with people you are about or other presentations that make you nervous. If you are looking to communicate more clearly and confidently with others, then this is the perfect oil for you.

Roman Chamomile - The oil of spiritual purpose

Roman Chamomile is one of the more rare and expensive oils, but is worth the investment. This oil supports you in discovering your true purpose. It helps you to feel confident in your reason for being in this world and guides you to the action to take towards that purpose.

Cassia - The oil of self-assurance

Cassia has a cinnamon like scent and is amazing at bringing you out of your shell. For those who are uncomfortable in social situations, this oil can help remove that shy barrier. Using this oil will lead you to step into yourself more confidently.

Like I said earlier, this is not an exhaustive list. There are certainly more oils and crystals out there that will support your journey to living more confidently. So go explore crystals at your local metaphysical shop or look up oils online and see what else is out there. Let me know in the comments which work best for you!
